Charming and colorful, this antique French bistro set comprises a round folding table and two coordinating folding chairs. Crafted in France circa 1920, the three-piece ensemble is fashioned from wrought iron and sheet metal with a black painted finish.

The tabletop, chair seats, and crescent-shaped backrests are decorated by hand with colorful floral bouquets, leafy branches, small blossoms, dotted borders, and warm ochre accents. Additional painted ornament embellishes the lower stretchers, giving the set a distinctive decorative character reminiscent of lacquered Chinoiserie furniture.

Slender iron frames, curved legs, and flattened feet create a light, graceful profile typical of traditional French café furniture. All three pieces fold flat for convenient storage and transport, making the set ideal for a breakfast room, garden room, covered patio, balcony, or intimate dining area.
