Early 20th Century French Iron Pagoda Bird Cage on Stand with White Finish
$2,300
About
Add color and whimsical charm to your kitchen, conservatory, or breakfast room with this elegant antique aviary. Crafted in France circa 1920, this large free-standing bird cage is composed of two parts, a decorative base and an upper house-shaped enclosure. The sculptural iron stand rests on four gracefully scrolled legs joined by double circular stretchers and ending in small caster wheels for easy mobility. The cage itself features a rectangular form crowned with a gently arched pagoda top, enhanced by curled finials at each corner. The mesh design allows full visibility while creating a light, airy silhouette. It opens through a charming double-arched door at the front and includes a removable pull-up tray with a central knob for easy cleaning. Both practical and sculptural, this Art Deco–era French aviary is finished in a beautifully aged white patina that adds a touch of romantic elegance to any interior or garden room. Excellent condition commensurate with age and use. Measures: 30” W × 17” D × 70.5” H.
