Place a vase, a bust or a planter on this elegant antique pedestal. Crafted in France circa 1860, the tall fruitwood “Sellette” sits on a wide and square base. The stem features a carved “Gentilhomme” in traditional formal clothing and holding the circular corbel surface. The pedestal is in excellent condition and adorns a rich walnut patina with exquisite hand carved details including on the face, hair, clothes and shoes. Measures: 12″ W x 12″ D x 42.75″ H.
