Crafted in France circa 1960, the five-piece ensemble combines polished brass with richly veined dark green marble, creating a handsome contrast suitable for both traditional and Mid-Century interiors.

The set comprises a freestanding serviteur and four fireplace implements: a shovel, brush, poker, and tongs. Each tool is fitted with a cylindrical green marble handle capped by a spherical marble finial and accented with polished brass collars. The matching stand repeats the same marble decoration at the top, creating a cohesive and sophisticated presentation.

The slender brass standard rises from a substantial circular green marble base, surrounded by a brass gallery that neatly contains the tools while protecting the surrounding hearth. Four shaped brass supports at the top hold the individual implements securely in place. Small brass feet elevate the marble base slightly from the floor.

Both decorative and practical, the combination of polished brass and deep green veined marble gives this fireplace accessory set a luxurious French character without appearing overly ornate. The compact 10-inch diameter makes it particularly useful beside a fireplace where floor space is limited.
