Mid-Century French Brass & Glass Three-Section Coffee Table Maison Baguès Style
$3,900
About
This mid-century three-piece oval cocktail table was created in Paris France circa 1950. Attributed to Maison Baguès and built of brass, the table features three separate elements: a square center table and two demi-lune ends. Each section stands on tapered legs embellished with elegant bottom stretcher. The surfaces are dressed with the original inset glass top attached to each leg. The three-piece coffee table is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn a rich patinated gilt finish. The sleek demi-lune tables could also be used as side tables on both ends of a sofa in a living room, and the center section could be used alone as a low cocktail table. Since 1860, the Maison Baguès has been located in the center of Paris and specializes in the creation of luxury furniture and lighting. Early on, it became the emblem of French Savoir-Faire in wrought iron work and brass, along with French craftsmanship, which is highly valued internationally. Measures: 43.5″ W x 20″ D x 18″ H.
