Mid-Century French Louis XV Burl & Rosewood Carved Bombe Seven-Drawer Chest
Crafted in France circa 1960, the elegant fruit wood “Semainier” stands on cabriole legs ending with front bronze sabots, over a scalloped apron decorated with a center bronze mount. The chest features burl wood curved panels decorated with bronze mounts in the corners; it is fitted with seven serpentine drawers embellished with rosewood banding, and dressed with ornate handles. The antique cabinet is in excellent condition and adorns a rich walnut patina. Place this tall multi-drawer chest in your bedroom or bathroom for extra storage!
