These charming antique putti carvings were crafted in Italy, circa 1780. The hand carved figures depict two chubby cupids resting on a knee and holding a arm up; each sculpture features its original polychrome and gold leaf finish for a luxurious result. The carved cherubs are expressive in their movement and feature wonderful facial expressions. The religious cherubs are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn the original patinated polychromed and gilt finish. The colorful sculptures would make a charming addition on a table or console in a living room or study. Measures: 12″W x 9″D x 18.5″H.
