Crafted in France, circa 1880, the colorful ceramic planters are tall and thin and feature two Blackamoor figures in high relief and standing in front of a carved stone wall. Both man and woman are neatly dressed with the young man carrying a bag, umbrella and blanket, and the young beauty holding two baskets full of flowers. Both porcelain sculptures are further embellished with floral decor. Each piece of porcelain has Fine, sculptural details and is in excellent condition with well-maintained vivid colors.
