Pair of 19th Century French Marble Top Carved Burl Walnut Gueridon Tables
Decorate a living room or den with this elegant pair of antique round gueridons. Crafted in France circa 1870, each fruit wood table stands on three cabriole legs decorated with bronze lion head figures mounts at the shoulders, and ending with bronze hoof feet with acanthus leaves covers. The surface is dressed with a circular inset variegated beige marble top within a walnut border. Each gueridon is further embellished with a bottom shelf for stability and additional display space. The side tables are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use and adorn a rich walnut patina. Versatile, the occasional tables could also be used as bedside nightstands.
