Pair of 19th Century French Provincial Carved Cherry Three-Leg Trestle Benches
Dressed a farm table with this elegant pair of antique provincial benches. Crafted in the Poitou region of France, circa 1890, and carved of cherry wood, each farmhouse bench stands on three angled octagonal legs with visible mortis and through tenon joinery, and connected by a central stretcher. The seat is built with one single rectangular board plank. Both long and narrow benches are in excellent condition and adorn a rich walnut patina. Measures: 112″W x 11″D x 17.75″H.
