Elegant and unusually petite, this matched pair of Louis XV-style bedside tables offers refined storage in a slender, graceful form. Crafted in France circa 1940, each walnut nightstand features a scalloped three-quarter gallery surrounding an inset variegated pink marble top. The facade is fitted with three drawers decorated with matched chevron veneer, delicate string inlay, and ornate brass pulls. Shaped aprons and gently curved side panels soften the narrow silhouettes, while tall tapering cabriole legs are joined by a lower shelf embellished with decorative parquetry. Brass foliate sabots accent the front feet and complement the drawer hardware.
