$2,800
About
Bring elegance and storage to any corner with this beautiful antique corner cabinet. Crafted in France circa 1920 and built of solid oak, the wide cabinet sits on plinth feet over a scalloped apron, and features an angled silhouette designed to fit snugly into a corner space. The single front door is decorated with exquisite hand-carved Rococo motifs including floral garlands, scrolling acanthus leaves, and a stylized shell at the center. A carved drawer across the top, dressed with a brass escutcheon, adds functional storage, while the interior offers two fixed triangular shelves, perfect for storing linens, tableware, or decorative items. The paneled sides and shaped apron base complete the piece. The large “Encoignure” is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a warm, rich walnut patina. Versatile and decorative, the tall cabinet would be a charming addition to a breakfast room, den, or study, blending seamlessly with traditional or French country decor. Two keys included. 42″W x 24″D x 40″H
