The oak has acquired a beautifully weathered, sun-washed patina, with soft gray tones and traces of original paint highlighting the grain and age of the wood. The subtle irregularities, knots and natural movement in the planks reinforce its authenticity and hand-crafted origin.
The bench rests on a decorative cast iron base with slender, curving supports and splayed legs, joined by an elegant stretcher.
