Place this elegant antique floor lamp in a living room, study, or reading corner. Crafted in France circa 1920, the tall sculptural form is built in solid walnut, and features a classic Louis XIII–inspired barley twist column rising from a richly carved circular base. The base is decorated with bold acanthus and foliate motifs, giving the piece strong architectural presence and visual weight.
At midpoint, the lamp incorporates a convenient circular table, finished in a slightly lighter tone and encircled with a carved gadroon edge, offering both function and decorative contrast. The turned and carved elements continue through the standard, showcasing fine craftsmanship and balanced proportions throughout.
The fixture is topped with a candle-form stem fitted with double sockets and patinated brass hardware, and has been newly rewired for modern use. The antique floor lamp is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and presents a warm, rich walnut patina. Shades and harps not included.
