The piece features fine matched veneers with a warm honey-toned patina, centered by an intricate floral marquetry bouquet framed within scrolling foliate inlay over a richly figured burl ground. The top is surrounded by a pierced gilt brass gallery and fitted with a shaped brass handle, adding both utility and a sophisticated decorative accent.
The upper tier is designed with dual drop leaves, allowing the surface to expand for serving or fold down for a more compact footprint. Each leaf mirrors the detailed inlay seen throughout the cart.
The cart stands on slender turned legs with gilt accents and rolls easily on two large spoked rear wheels and two smaller front casters. The lower tier repeats the marquetry decoration, offering additional space for bottles, glassware, or display.
