Created in France, circa 1870, the elegant antique wall mirror is decorated with intricate repousse decor including a cartouche at the pediment featuring a floral vase with foliage and scrolled motifs in high relief on the sides. The center mirror features the original beveled mercury glass with inset smaller mirrors around the periphery, and embellished with rosette medallions around the frame. The large Napoleon III wall mirror is in excellent condition with a rich patinated gilt finish with ebony blackened accents around the frame. A wonderful addition to a powder room, entry or living room. Measures: 28″ W x 45″ H.
