This elegant, antique wall mirror was crafted in France, circa 1870. The wall decor features a large shell cartouche at the pediment flanked with carved foliate motifs on the sides. The gilt frame, dressed with the original inside mercury glass, is embellished with a discrete engraved floral and leaf decor throughout. The Louis Philippe mirror is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, adorns a beautiful gold leaf finish and features the original wood backing; it would make a nice addition over a mantel, in any bedroom, or in a powder room. Hooks in the back for easy installation. Measures: 28.25″ W x 48.5″ H.
