Early 20th Century French Patinated Metal Rooster Sculpture with Concrete Base

Crafted in France circa 1920 and made of metal, the sculpture depicts a proud crowing chanticleer rising on a molded base filled with concrete; wonderful details including the plumage throughout the body. The large bird, symbol of France, is in excellent condition and adorns a rich and natural patinated and oxidized verdigris finish with real evidence of outdoor use.
