Pair of Mid-Century Peruvian Painted Wrought Iron and Leather Campaign Chairs
These elegant vintage campaign armchairs were created in Peru, circa 1970. This striking set of two brutalist dining chairs, made in the manner of Israeli artist Ilana Goor, is built of heavy forged rebar sculpted into the most brilliant designs. Upholstered with distressed leather seats, armrests and back with thick leather stitching around the edges, the occasional armchairs are in excellent condition with a rich antique patinated barrel and painted finish; very versatile and organic, they would make a wonderful statement in a study, den or a wine cellar. Measures: 26″ W x 21.5″ D x 41.5″ H Seat height 19″.
