Pair of Early 20th Century French Louis XV Style Cherry Side Tables
$1,900
About
This elegant pair of antique French Louis XV style side tables was crafted in France circa 1930. Each table is made of cherry and features refined marquetry inlay along the drawer fronts and case edges, showcasing the decorative craftsmanship associated with the Louis XV tradition. The graceful kidney-shaped tops are fitted with pierced brass galleries, offering both visual refinement and functional protection. Each table is fitted with two drawers accented with marquetry borders and original brass pulls. Slender, cabriole-inspired legs taper gracefully and terminate in brass sabots, reinforcing the Louis XV influence while maintaining a light, elegant silhouette. The walnut surfaces display a warm, time-softened patina that highlights the natural grain and fine inlay work. Versatile in scale, these antique tables work beautifully as side tables, nightstands, or accent pieces in a living room or bedroom. Both are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: 18.5″W x 11.5″D x 26″H (each)
