Crafted in France circa 1880 by the Longchamp manufactory, the large circular ceramic plate features a beautifully sculpted botanical composition of apples, foliage, and delicate blossoms.

The decorative platter showcases three ripe apples in shades of red, coral, and soft green, suspended from a gracefully curved tree branch surrounded by intricately modeled leaves. Clusters of pale pink apple blossoms embellish one side of the composition, creating a charming sense of movement and natural beauty. The fruit, flowers, and foliage are executed in pronounced high relief, giving the platter remarkable depth and a sculptural, three-dimensional appearance.

The hand-painted decoration features a rich combination of pastel green, lavender blue, warm brown, and soft pink glazes, characteristic of French barbotine pottery of the late 19th century. The contrasting colors and glossy glazed surfaces enhance the lifelike quality of the fruit and floral motifs.
