WWI German Trench Artillery Brass Shell Casing with Engraved Foliage Motifs

$1,100

About

Decorate a man’s office or a study display shelf with this antique trench art shell casing. Created in Germany, and dated 1918, this World War I artillery shell casing has been masterfully transformed into a decorative object. Made of solid brass, it showcases detailed engraved work featuring floral and leaf motifs, along with two intricately rendered parrots. The large WWI historical memorabilia vase is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich patinated brass finish. Versatile in use, it could serve as a planter, jardinière, or even a distinctive waste basket; a bold and conversation worthy addition to any military buff’s collection!
