19th Century French Painted Ceramic Barbotine Sugar Bowl with Lid and Cow Decor
This richly painted Majolica “bonbonniere” was sculpted in France, circa 1880. The round ceramic sugar dish features a lid with dog head knob, and is decorated with two cow’s sculptures embellished with palm trees. The small container is in excellent condition with a colorful palette of dark blue, yellow and green colors. Measures: Diameter 4″ Height 4.5″.
